Tell me more about that summer jacket of yours please. I've been looking at Fieldsheer, didn't realise that there was other makes.

Belstaff airblast web jacket

Cheers in advance.

Summer jacket.

Postby Rolfy Dave » Thu Jan 01, 2004 4:24 pm

Hi matey,

the one I use is a Belstaff air extreme. It costa bout £90 from any balstaff dealer. It has Knox armour in all the right places (including a back protector) Also, for fat bastards like me, it goes up to 3XL and fits great. It is a kevlar/cordura web design, and allows the air to pass straight through it, but gives good protection in the event of a fall.

I have used it since mid last summer, and I wish I had had one for our trip to Germany (when the temp was up the 30's C) All I need now is a set of trousers to go with it, but I still use my old Akito leather trews.

Must admit, I can wholeheartedly recommend these Jackets... Although if it does get a bit chilly, you WILL notice the difference "Immediately"..... But you can get a zip in waterproof liner, but I just use a kagool (sad old git...lol).

Treat yourself to one, you wont regret it..

Best wishes for the new year, and lets hope its the weather to use the airblast extreme,

Cheers guys, I'm gonna be going to the South of France June/July and I know it can get hot, so thats why I'm after a "tea bag" kind of jacket, airy but with the armour.

I've tried doing a search but can't seem to find that exact style Dave.
