I also use that BH but I use it on the wheels too - gets a nice clean shine on them. I then protect it all with Autoglym High Gloss Protection which smells fookin lovely and makes it feel really nice and sexy - but then again I do have a Silver xx , so Sexy is built in  I also use the other Autoglym stuff for the rubbery bits on the wingdicators and the black bits near the tank - brings them up nice and clean looking, and it's also good for the brake hoses, calipers, rubber hoses, and engine - loverly, but can't remember what it's called and I can't be arsed to go and have a look in the garage for the bottle which is about empty I think :banghead) Solvol Autosol does the alloys and exhausts including foot hangers etc. 8)

Whatever wax or polish the missus buys for her car I nick and use on the bike :wink) Also silicone based Flash Dash ( I think) on the non shiny plastic bits and rubber mirror boots and autosol on the alloy and brass bits.
95% of all Harley Davidsons ever made are still on the road... the other 5% made it home.

Autoglym or carnuba enriched wax polish (which ever takes me fancy) on the shiny bits. The carnuba stuff gets a better shine more easily but the Autoglym lasts longer :) Although, since I got those microfibre polishing cloths off BH, I dont seem to need to polish the bike quite so much

I use Turtle Wax Extreme trim cleaner (green bottle) on the non shiny stuff (except tyres of course) which works really well and keep the wheels clean with WD40, just sprayed on a cloth and wiped carefully around the spokes, rims etc. I used to use it to clean the crap off the tyre walls too until I read somewhere that it can rot the rubber :oops)

When the feeling takes me I also use a bike specific engine de-greaser to clean the crap from around the back of the engine. Fookin excellent stuff!

Crystal Glo acrylic polish is great as I don't have to be careful not to get it on the plastic bits. Cos' it polishes 'em too! :ride)

You must have money to burn, using WD40 on the wheels :|
Try whites spirt you get a gallon for a tin of WD :D
That Autoglym is a good drop of kit and i use that mostly on the tank.
I also brought some turtle wax in a green bottle that got a good review in one of those moron car tuning tits mags :bigcry:
That will get used for my helmet :D :roll) and fairing when i open the bottle.

Simon you don't want to use wax on your helmet, your hand might slip off the tip and you could do yourself an injury or maybe worse :D

I've used Auto Glym on every car/bike I've owned, ever since I saw a Rolls Royce dealership in Devon with a large tub of the stuff sitting close by. If its good enough for a Siver Shadow its good enough for me 'bird. :)
