RiDER Power 2003

Postby Bristle Hound » Mon Aug 04, 2003 9:06 pm

Got this e-mail form the guys at RiDE m/c mag.
Go on e-mail him with your answers & don't forget to mention Ixxra !

"Hello from RiDE,

The post '99 Blackbird has done really well in our 2003 RiDER Power survey.
We need to find out as much as possible about it from the people who've
lived with them. Some of the words and pictures will be included in the
forthcoming RiDER Power special issue.

Hopefully you'll have a few minutes to tell us about your experiences. If
you spoke to us at the Ace café, you don't need to reply to this mail unless
there's anything you'd like to add to what you've already told us.

If possible, please include a picture of yourself where we can see your
face. Email or post it to me at RiDE, Emap Automotive, Media House,
Lynchwood, Peterborough PE2 6EA. If you post a picture we can scan it and
send it back.

Thanks

Living with it
What year is your bike?
How long have you had it?
How many miles has the bike done and how many have you done on it?
Why did you buy the bike?
What do you use it for and how does it suit the way you ride?
What's the best thing about it?
What's the worst thing about it?

Handling/performance
What do you think of the engine/handling/brakes?
How does it compare to other bike's you've owned and ridden?

Modifications/tech
What tyres and consumables do you use - how long do they last?
What modifications have you made and would you recommend them?
What's the fuel consumption like?

The downsides
Have you had any problems?
Have you been able to sort them?

About you
Where, roughly, do you live?
Do you have a telephone number in case we need further info?"

E-mail your reply to dan.caspersz@emap.com

Yep got that done, but I somehow doubt they will feature someone that's only used his bird for 6000 miles in the past 2 years when the sun's come out. A bit boring don't you think...
