:) thanks guys, I've just ordered the Kc 2000 tour back armour. 90 quid but it is a one off expense. Just hope I never need to find out if it works :ride:

FOOK ME!!

Mental note to self:

Dear Self,

Place Knox back protector on top of to do list... try and hide yet another Bird-related purchase from Mrs. Demon, if caught explain it is for safety and blame all IXXRA members... get list of home addresses of members and hand them over to Mrs Demon. BTW Self, have I told you that I love you and that you are special, you are important... come 'ere lets give eachother a hug
Trespass sweet the urge, give me my sin again.

A mate of mine lost 3 toes of his right foot when he clipped a bike coming the other way (both overtaking). :D

No other damage except for the missing chunk of army issue drill boot.

There was a prog on TV recently about safety gear. They also expressed concern about steel toe caps saying that they are great if you drop stuff on yer foot, but on a bike, if the foot is compressed backwards the edge of the steel can act like a guilotine. That is why no bike specific boots have steel caps I guess.

On the bright side though Demon, the Sidi boots you have ordered came out top in Ride magazine for safety, they are the dogs danglies dude
