As a kid I used to love the Triumph TR-7. There's a blast from the past eh? lol

These days my taste in four wheelers has changed somewhat. There is loads of cars I love, but I love the 1969 Dodge Charger.

YyyyyeeeeHaaaaaa

I hate cars so it would have to be the most expensive there is then sell it and use the money for bikes and other stuff.
95% of all Harley Davidsons ever made are still on the road... the other 5% made it home.

I know it may sound daft to some but I have never liked or felt anything for the Austin Martin brand or the actual cars themselves. I think they look too much like Jaguar (I hate Jaguar's with a passion).

It may be a tug of the heart strings with the Austin Martin brand to some people who recall the James Bond days, and for that I could understand (if they like Bond, that is!)

BEZZER-BOND lol

You could be right there Anth. I guess the cars are really only ford/jaguar under the skin but there is just something about them for me

Although, if I ever had the money, I might actually go for something more exotic. I guess I will never know :bigcry:

My 4 favourite cars:

1. 1969 Dodge Charger
2. Pontiac Trans Am (new shape especially)
3. Pontiac Firebird (don't really count cos it's just a Trans Am with smaller engine)
4. Honda Integra

8) Mark2 Toyota MR2 Turbo Rev4
Standard UK cars were only ever FI putting out 175 BHP
Imported Turbos as standard 250 BHP ish 0-60 well under 5 sec's
Not bad for around £6500
Cause I’m as free as a Bird now,
And this Bird you can not change

When I was a kid ( about 400,000 years ago ) There was only one car.
Lamborghini Countach!
Not the most beautiful of supercars ( the Ferrari Boxer was prettier ) but without a doubt the must stop-dead, jaw-droppingly, stunning car in the world! All scoops and angles with a monster of an engine.
The Aston Martins only linked with Jaguar some 10 yrs ago so Jaguar actually used the Aston shape for themselves. The early Astons ( up to DB6 ) were stunning cars too!
ps. I used to be a sportscar anorak and for that I apologise reservedly

Andy. A few years ago a bike mag raced bikes against cars. R1 vs Impreza, 998 vs Ferarri 355 etc and the car they pitted against the xx was the XJ220. They thought that the jag oozed the same quality feel and delivered the same smooth, endless power as the xx Weird eh/
Incidentally the jag, tho' having a top speed of 217mph, was anhialated by the BB up to 180mph and then they ran out of track lol lol lol

Cars? Have to agree with bezzer - I hate 'em. I only ever rode a bike up until I got kids, then had to learn to drive just to drag them around the fookin country, on holiday, shopping, etc etc. Still don't like cars, but LOVE motorbikes - even after 35 years of riding the buggers :D

For a real drivers car it's got to have rear wheel drive, I'm going to lodge another half vote for the Countach

Did you know the original Countach had no spoiler it did 203mph on it's first test drive, this rapidly turned into it's maiden flight and they bolted the wing on limiting it to 198mph but more importantly keeping it on the black stuff.

Full vote goes to the AC COBRA.
On the eighth day God created Harley, on the ninth he traded it in for something cheaper that was more fun to ride.

I agree with Andy but the XJ220 is pure fantasy.
More realistic (and within reach) are 50's Bristols, either the 400 or 403, Can't make my mind up.

Quite quick - I saw 170 coming back from Spa. Very different sensation then 170 on the bike.

Memories - But like the Murphys....
