BIXXER BOB

Well I made the right decision not to take those loud cans, don't get me wrong I'm gutted about not gettin em, but I would have had to go on a rollin road and would have needed to change jets coz the bird won't run right with race cans on.

So its gonna be a long time before I fit them.

And it does give you an extra 1 to 3 BHP, so if anybody has a carbed bird and some spare dosh, they should invest.
The road is never long enough, and too many bastid cages.

Kim, get yourself an injection Bird, that way you can put any pipes on without remapping.

Don't know what all the fuss is about :? I had my MIG cans on my old bird, never bothered with rejetting etc and it ran sweet. Just stronger, cleaner delivery throughout the entire rev range. The colour of the carbon deposits was a bit lighter, but still good and dark, if anything I think the bird runs very rich so no bad thing IMHO :D

Bird Crazy also has a set of Scorpions on his carbed Bird and hasn't changed any of the settings and it still runs as good even better than when he had the Standard ones on.

Remus cans are designed specifically to 'plug and go' - no mods needed :P

well here goes, xx of the 98 carbed variety !

Had a pair of scorpion race cands fitted, no fuelling problems, ran as sweet as with standard cans on , :)

:banghead) had to change whole system (blown headers) so got a 4 2 1 akrapovic 4 2 1 with a road/race can , with baffle fitted runs sweet as, but with baffle out the flat spot around 4,500 rpm is emphasised more,

told needs jetting and a filter, cos of single can !

Didnt listen changed the plugs, (11k on original ones ) for some iridium ones and cleaned air filter, better but still not 100%

Solved the problem, NAIL the xx harder and stay away from the lower revs :) :D
