Quill

I've seen some Quill T3 pipes on ebay, for buy now at £325 (brand new) and I'm very much thinking about it. They are road legal type which will suit the missus cos big twins with race pipes...the noise of bloody unreal.

My question is this...as a general rule of the thumb, do road legal "aftermarket" pipes sound louder then OEM original pipes?

I was debating full race pipes...but i really think the noise is gonna be just too much ( a ticket waiting to happen). I know the noise is not as bad on a 4 cylinder bike cos you can hide it a bit better but I'm really not sure I wanna go down that road of pipes on a bike (my big twin) that make them just farrrr toooo loud.

Are these Quill pipes up to much? I've not had them before and do not know if they are OK or shite...

I'd have to agree, after markets are made to sound better, else why would they make them :?
