You were right I should have listened to all the advice

Phone call Thursday from Bmw. Don't ride the bike till further notice! Bit miffed I can tell you
Anyway made a few phone calls to BMW Motorrad customer services & my local dealer, told them I use the RT for work and in a fortnight are in Europe on an expedition
So today we picked up this:
K1600GTL
BMW have registered it to me for the duration that the RT is off the road.
0 miles on the clock, so got to run it in before 26th June as we're going to the chunnel the day after
Apparently they are doing the same to all RT owners until the stock of unregistered bikes are used up!
In a couple of months they'll be a few beemers going cheap from BMW all with one careful owner!
It's got quite a bit of oomph 5000rpm is approx 115 mph.
Very heavy when pushing it around, but once on the move it's very stable and manoeuvrable
Very low seat so easy to get both feet flat on the floor, which is just as well given the weight
Ro Ro likes the armchair
It's very nice but a bit too big for me
Must say BMW have been excellent at getting me up & running
Can't fault the customer service
