We have room for at least 5 bikes must be on the show ground before 10.00am
Mine will be there with poachers ?? (Ru still up for it ) anyone else going to join us??
I'm going to put the tent up this weekend to check it out and see how to do it,
And they are trying to get the air ambulance to use the field as it's base for the day, so it should be a good sight

A fun day out for all the family
Oakley Motorcycle Club has organised a fun day for members and visitors at the Oakley Sports & Social Club ground.

ON DISPLAY will be the East Anglia Air Ambulance helicopter (subject to weather and operational requirements), the Fire Service and police motorcyclists, and over 50 stands to wend your way around with attractions for all - Best bike on show competition, a kiddies corner with face painting, balloon modelling and more, trampolines, quad bikes, slow riding, Birds of prey, displays from supporting sponsors and bike clubs, to name just a few .....

WE HAVE CELEBRITIES from the racing world : Niall Mackenzie (tbc), Triple British Superbike Champion, Troy Corser, double World Superbike champion, Richard Cooper, British Superstock champion in 2011, Oli Linsdell from Flitwick Motorcycles and winner of last year's 500cc Classic TT, our own Grant "Wag" Wagstaff who competed in this years' TT and Jonathan Railton who is competing in the Ducati TriOptions Cup. They will be joined by David Hailwood, son of the late Mike the Bike with the 500cc Honda 4 grand prix racer and Steve Plater, British Supersport Champion in 2009, a 2 x IOM TT and North West 200 winner who will be doing interviews during the day. Also in attendance is Santa Pod with a number of drag racers with their machines which will be fired up.

LIVE MUSIC is provided by Rock/Blues group Eddie Manson & his Disciples in the afternoon and from 8pm till late there will be an evening event in the Clubhouse, FREE OF CHARGE with another Rock band, The Preachers.

Dunno about any "hush hush trip, me owd bull. I do know that Jono and Ramo mentioned months ago they were toying with a Highland ride in July or August, (in fact I'm sure Ramo mentioned it to you too ) but nowt concrete until the fekkas told me a few weeks ago or so they were going this next week. I ampt committed until I finally got a few days parole for good behaviour and basically invited messen along. Bet you'll say ya cant go now as (a) its too short notice (b) me bike's not prepped (c) arr lass wont let me as I haven't got enough brownie points (d) I'd love to but I've got too many bike trips arranged.

I've got 3 tubs of Avon Skin So Soft, two mozzie nets ( one for my heed and one for my knob) and a dozen cans of flykiller spray ready packed to go...... WoooHooooo!
