Seeing as I've only just got online this morning, since about 1900hrs last evening Tim...

Yes, the site is up, and yes, I am grateful to the admin team who will have worked very hard to get it back up again...

If you read my original post on BIRD, you would see I posted "momentarily", and was just an observation on circumstances.

Thanks for your namecalling & slagging off, its appreciated

Good thanks, Tim. Not posting much on any forums at the moment. Spending most of my energy looking at a replacement for the bird :bigcry: . Unfortunately, I cant do the cramped riding style any more because of my knee and ankle (and cant use footpeg lowerers or bar risers etc because of the German TÜV laws :banghead) :banghead) :banghead) ).

Have tried a few bikes, and feel that the "adventure" style bike would be best for my leg.

So far I've tried a 2004 BMW 1200GS - hated it from the start, Kawasaki Versys 1000, - had 2 test rides, 1st time it just felt zzz zzz zzz zzz zzz , tried it again, as it is VERY comfy, and i sooo wanted to like it, but only succeeded in finding more things i didn't like about it :banghead).

Want to try a TDM, but ones for sale here are about as rare as posts on this forum lol , the same for Triumph Tigers.

"worked very hard" my arse. LOL . Your definition of hard work must be very different to mine Rolfy. lol

I read your original post on the Dark Side where you couldn't be arsed to name the site that was down and then I read the other post when you said it was STILL down and laughed about it in a sneering malevolent sorta way. I did not like that or the tone, hence the namecalling and slagging off that followed, which I thought was very appropriate .

Double fekkin Tosspot.

Phil, know what you mean about the Adventure bikes. Just been looking at the Trumpet Tiger. Cyclops has just bought a beauty. 800. Great riding position, excellent build quality, fast as any fooka over 40 needs to go. Plenty of poke and according to Cyclops, very, very comfortable and not a big heavy lump to move about. Worth a look at Phil. I am very impressed with what I have seen and heard so far and it has opened my eyes to something for the future. ( The GS, as much as I like its quirkiness and superb handling, is a fekkin great big heavy lump and I cant keep that forever )

What about the Honda Crossdresser?

On my list to try, just waiting for one to come up (all the stealers say they don't have demo bikes now, as the 2015 bikes come out October.....).
