Gone and done it finally!

Postby T.Murphy aka Tim » Wed Jan 14, 2015 11:18 pm

Clicked on a "Buy it Now" Sena SMH10 dual set.

Been humming and arring for long enough and even , a couple of times, toyed with refitting the Autocom headset and "retuning" the Autocom again.

However, with a fellow rider suggesting us going halves on a Dual set, I have finally given in. At a £103.68 per unit , ( :shock) ) :shock) it's well worth a punt.

Watch this space...well, the Sat Nav and Comm's Section !

Andrew, no they havent got a push to talk, you dont need them with bluetooth system as the VOX and Mics are streets in front of what you remember....
Also you can individually switch him off if you want and just connect to the person of choice if they are noisey fekkers

..and no ya sad bastid, it aint Cyclops. Fook me I wouldn't like to be thereabouts if he ever decided to open his wallet. :shock) Anyone know the collective term/word for a "flock" of moths? Bet he's got more moths in there than a fookin Chinese Silk Farm.

 I knew you would appreciate the effort :thumbsup) and effort it was! it's not easy to co-ordinate a mass wind up with fellow Coonts whilst navigating a Vauxhall combo van down the M6 lol

Sena arrived on Thursday.

Very pleased with it in the living room at the moment

A dual set bought and all for £101.50 each all in, including postage from the States and that import duty thing.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sena-Technolo ... D100102%26

Played with it yesterday and although I find owt like that daunting, it was quite painless to set up really. Music quality is good from my Zumo, buty excellent from either my mobile Bluetooth OR my non-Bluetooth ipod connected to my Sena with a small curly lead ( yea I know..."but it int wireless then is it?")

Dave, Dave, Alan, Alan....?

Connect phone first and play your music through your phone... stick a micro sd card innit if you need more space for your mp3s....

Then connect your zumo as a 'second phone' (not as a GPS) which sorts out voice commands overide... ie music dips when zumo speaks..

Job done... not sure about zumo voice override when connected to another rider tho as I havent got any friends to try it out with .... :oops)

still a bit fuzzy headed from a weekend on the lash so cant get any more tekky yet :P :P

can see it now, parked in a lay-by trying to connect half a dozen idiots to bluetooth   45mins riding 8 hours connecting :notworthy) :notworthy)

allun u got steve an dave allun.. no i got tim n allun hello dave...off route, recalculating... whoos fookin sat nav was that allun hello allun ...
fookin hell cant wait lol lol
