Fekk me BS. Akuji has a point. You'll find it best to use an Allen Key to undo an allen head fastener rather than a small chisel or screwdriver.
:shock) fekk that garage must've been damp with a capital "D". Never seen fasteners that bad.
Anyrode, now you've used a bit of elbow grease to "polish" them up , you need to protect them cos they are even more open to corrosion after polishing. Give them a "paint" over with some clear nail varnish. Otherwise they'll be back to the state of the first pic within a month.

Cheers Tim, yup garage has been awash by the looks of things.There was white powder all over and even the tank protected was mouldy.
Thanks for the tip :thumbsup) could you loan me some of your nail varnish cos I've only got that pink sparkly stuff left. :mrgreen:

Get ya own, tightwad. Local chemists for clear nail varnish. Cheap as chips.
