My take on it is:

1: Marchez is a total coont who has more by luck than judgement so far not managed to take someone off and injure them as yet.


2: Rossi is a riding god who has gone up in my estimation even more by being able to ride a moto GP bike into a turn at speed and manage to kick a brake lever on. The same brake lever that has a rather expensive engineered guard on it to prevent this very occuence happening.



3: Eric needs a new keyboard either that'll he is using an Enigma machine to type posts on here.

...For me, it's not about Marquez - or the press conference - or the Honda press release - or the Yamaha response...

...It's about Rossi's response to Marquez leaning on him.

...For me - Rossi shouldn't have reacted in the way that he did - it looked wrong at the time and it still feels wrong (to me) now.

...I'll be sort of glad if he gets his tenth title - it's obviously so, so very important to him -

- but the sad thing is - win or lose - it'll be a long time before the sourness - and the bitterness - begins to diminish, because the result at Valencia 2015 will (I think) overshadow his whole career.

What a very, very great shame that would be if it came to be true.
