That's Grant out then

Birds over North Wales 2016
Following on form the success of this years Easter(ish) outing Ian and myself are pleased to say we are repeating the experience next year on the weekend of 23rd/24th april with a few of us turning up at hotels in Llangollen from the Fri evening

The rideout will be broadly the same as last years but taking in a loop around Lake Vrynwy we had to miss as some people forgot to fuel up before leaving, a different route out of Barmouth, slight change through Ffestiniog and then a nicer run back to the Ponderosa via Ruthin

http://tinyurl.com/ponderosa-birds-2016-v1

The plan is to leave the Ponderosa at 11:00 sharp on the saturday

Lets see if we can beat last years total of 22 Birds

And a good curry house :thumbsup)

Simmo can i make a suggestion to the last stretch of your route, it's a corker especially uphill which is the way you'll be heading off the A5.

Ok it seems I'm misleading people here, the Wales run is nothing to do with me ,it's being organised by some guys of Facebook( really good last year, I went with Trippo )I copied the details , knowing Grant was going .But wasn't sure if jono was aware of the dates or just winding Grant up !
Also It lets you all know about a blackbird meet

You can stay at Moffat if you wish! But the owner of the digs may not be as accommodating as Dumpy when minor disasters happen.... And there ain't no tyre places oop there open on a Sunday!!!!!

Dont sound good to me Jono, different venue please.

Touring for me is about visiting different places on and off the bike... We have done longtown to death now lets move on please.
we have accommodated Tims wishes last time when other people would have also liked a change. Are you suggesting we have a van full
of tools following him around on other trips as well ?

Aberdeen sounds good... you wont be able to throw the sauces at the staff there tho...

"Tim's wishes"? " we have accommodated"? No wishes from me matey, just that if I remember correctly, after so much procrastination, of which I can only stand back in awe at your mastery of, I decided where I was going to stay, irrespective of the constant dithering we are accustomed to. Fook all to do with anyone else's blessing, approval or otherwise and fook all I can do if ya wanna follow like mindless sheep bleating about how boring it is.

As for this next one, I know where I'm going and that's at Moffat. I'll meet you all at the designated departure place for the rideout if ya decide on
The Carlisle Travel Lodge for a refreshing change.
