A shed thread was mentioned a while ago so cos I'm bored here's mine. Hand built from the ground up its a bit small now with two bikes in it.
Now over to you lot.

What about the inside? Can you turn the bike(s) around in it?

You can only turn a bike around in it if you empty everything else out first, so not very practical. If one should need to "turn ones bike around" then it's in to the trees behind :thumbsup)

However, it is very well lit inside with two 5' fluorescent tubes :rockon)

Well, my "shed" is coming along nicely. Very slowly but nevertheless I'm getting there. If I was a builder then I'm afraid I'd be fekkin skint cos I am sooooooooooooooo Fookin slow you wouldn't believe it. Today I have finally fitted one side of my garage roof with a coated steel tile called Metrotile. To get this far with my refurbishment of a damp, cold, fooked asbestos roofed double garage with no insulation, a constantly leaking everywhere roof and a floor consisting off concrete "flags" on a shallow bed of wet fekkin sand, has taken me a fekin year and a half since finally starting the project and after 4 years of humming and harring of when and how to do it.

I shall post up some pics, including one of my concrete floor, complete with a pit deep enough to take my bike lift, so that when not needed, I can cover it up. That's when I can get off this twatting tablet and onto my laptop

Im fine mate yup still working making stainless steel its busy at the moment . In june im off to germany with a few mates staying in fussen for 7 days playing round there .We went last year i went on my triumph and i got pissed off with bmw,s overtaking me so my busa is going this year flat out time .It took me and a mate a month to build my shed i could get at least 5 bikes in it but the wife said no lol

.Il try and get out on a run with ya this year if im not working

Not heard of Fussen in Germany. I'll have a look at the maps :ride)

Just looked Fussen up. "........ end of the Romantic road 3 miles north of Austrian border..."

How long to get there....from Zeebrugge?. Why there? ( looks a nice place) :ride)

From rotterdam its about 520 miles to fussen we did it in one hit with plenty of stops it took us around 11 hours in total.We pick there because its like central to everything Italy austria swiss some great roads and very friendly people .The ferry is already booked for this year so is the digs

Sooooooooooooooo, why try and make a silk purse out of a pigs ear you may ask? Why not knock a tired sexual concrete garage down, clear the site and start again?

Cost! Got a quote oooh, at least 5 years ago of £18,000 to do the lot..knock it down and clear including asbestos sheet removal, new floor, block work, doors and roof. :shock)

. Total cost so far just under £3000.

Also, I have used the "garage" up to and throughout the refurbished, mainly as a workshop, so didn't really want to be without it.

Trouble is, this refurbishment has gone on too fekkin long mainly due to my incompetence and procrastination .

Hopefully, once the roof insulation is complete, I will be able to work on my bikes with just an industrial, hivis mankini on. Beer fridge is ready to switch on and 38 inch TV wall mounted. lol

Nice job , but worried when I saw the pitch of the roof , so agood job you don't have real tiles on or the pitch would be to shallow :thumbsup)

Yea, took a while finding a lightweight roof covering that wasn't "wriggly tin" type. This stuff is about 5 or 6 times lighter than standard tiles and I have beefed up the timber structurally.
