Hi y'all, I'm led to believe Aldi will be selling their motorcycle gear next week, and I desperately need another pair of m/c trousers. If anyone's got any Aldi kit, is it any good ? Regards, Siicular.

My first pair of boots were Aldi ones for £30. They did me nicely until I decided I liked biking :ride) and quite liked Smiley Miley :wink)

I've had a lot of their base layers, socks, compression underwear and mid layers. Very pleased with standard. :thumbsup)

You have to get in early when they have the M/C stock in, as sell out very quickly

Hi guys n gals, Just to update y`all, if anyone`s interested, - Aldi will have their motorcycle product range in store on Sun` 20/03/16, as one of their "Special buy" promotions. (Info via email from aldi customer services.) I`m currently using "Akito Python" trousers, and at £80.00 a pair, I would have expected them to be waterproof. Found out ,whilst riding home, during a downpour, last week, they`re not ! Ended up with rather wet thighs and "Meat & two veg" Thank goodness I was heading home, so I could get dried and changed. So, looking at the reviews for last years M/C gear at aldi, looks like quality gear at bargain prices. Goes without saying, I`ll be at my local store for a pair of their M/C trousers. Regards, Sircular.

No such thing as fully waterproof on a motorbike and I dont care how much you spend :bigcry:

Trousers and Jackets are excellent value for the money but again dont expect total waterproof. Boots are decent quality, comfy and offer good protection but they
are definitely NOT waterproof... I wouldnt go with the boots again but I would get the trousers and Jackets :thumbsup)

Hi y'all, looks like Aldi haven't got their m/c textile suits for sale on Sun' . They've got boots, gloves, base layers, and other gear, but no textiles. Regards, Sircular.

I might be going Rukka next time if I can't find the right Hein Gericke stuff.

Got a couple of years to go yet, though.

Pretty-much impregnable if you've got the storm collar and the bib... :thumbsup)

Its the 390 LM wot Mister Majestic bought for the German trip. I think he paid about £250 ish and that was for everything. From what we saw of that model its a cracking piece of kit and my next purchase when this heap of 550 shit totally packs up.

Cant find the link at the moment but there's an Online Shop page with free delivery.

Dip ya bread ....if you've no shame that is.
