BIGGER Shock Shock...

Started to fit the new shock this afternoon.

Usually, I put the bike on a piece of wood to keep it stable on the uneven ground at the side of the house - but decided to put the wood under the back wheel instead.

Old shock off - nip inside when it starts to rain and have a cuppa.

Rain stops - I go out and the bike's on its side - rear end collapsed due to no shock, of course.

Please include a solution with the piss-taking, if you'd be so kind.
