To be fair I havnt ridden it much , what with the daughters wedding and work , I got its first service Saturday done 700 miles , it's more comfortable for me than the xx but Mo's struggling a bit on the back, the xx is far more comfy for her :pullhair

I suppose the Germany trip will be the tester :thumbsup)

Yes I know, it's good were not all the same,I could never understand why you went to triumph and then sold it after a couple of years and brought another

When the vfr came out it was a lame quack quack now it seems to be the in bike strange the way people change their minds

Any how went for a ride round Sunday with Mo on the back , sorted her seating position, she's happy now, and the fugly is very close to the xx lovein it more each time

It rides no different fully loaded but with the panniers I brought she has a big arse ( no not Mo ) didn't buy wisely there and no time to send them back
But I will take it back and get the subframe checked though :thumbsup)

The subframes were replaced on a recall on the early ones if I remember right pal, so there shouldnt be any problem there with yours..

I have a pair of Givi paniers and/or a pair of soft luggage that your welcome to borrow if you need them, I can ride down and meet you half way if you want them.
The are the givi Keyless ones like these in the pic
