Im generalizing pal not pointing a finger at anyone in particular.... Its been a pet hate of mine for years and puts a lot off folk off doing there first trackday....

Its a fookin trackday not a world superbike race.... If you want to do lapp times etc then stick some numbers on and go join a race club. Cutting folks up in the corner in the intermediate group just so you can get a lap time makes my blood boil.This shite gives the total wrong impression of what a trackday is all about. A trackday is about learning new levels with your bike in a safe environment. If you want to do stupid overtakes, lap timing etc etc then go stick some numbers on join a race club and then see how really slow you actually are

I will be at Cadwell tomorrow to debate this further

Well. Got up early with intention of contacting Cyclops and bimbling down to see y'all, but its fekkin raining here. Not hard, but 'orrible nasty drizzle....so for that reason...."I'm out". Just have to look forward to the pics.

Same weather at Cadwell...

A dozen bikes out after the sighting laps – standing water on the track and no sign of a let-up from the weather.

Then the novice group session was halted for a track inspection as someone in fast group had dropped oil
up and over the Mountain and into the esses at Woodlands.

Called it a day.

Hope Oulton is better tomorrow...

Yeah – had a great day at Oulton, pal.

Looked at some old pix of me ont Suzuki and it’s obvious that I need more time on the Yamaha...

...still not exactly comfy on it, but it’s a dream to ride ont track. Just wish I’d got it sooner than I did…

Anyway – the snow’s here now, so I’ll just have to wait to see if we get some sun next year…
