Well, Im sorta fettling my 'Bird but not in anger yet sorta thing yet. But like you say, now that fookin charade is outta the way, I intend to get stuck in proper like. Have been gathering parts needed, including new wheel bearings for fitting after the wheels have been powder coated. 18 years of wheel paint chips need addressing. Front forks having a clean out and new oil put in. New horn, new rear tyre, rear cowl and grab rail respray and new set of brake lines. Titanium front wheel disc bolts... ( not having that coont Ramo sneering at my rusty bolts no more)

After 10 years of ownership, I think this 'Bird may be a keeper lol

Not underfloor heating, but with it fully insulated and them black "foam" type square interlocking tiles, along with a small patio heater on me bench AND a propane heater from Machine Mart, Im fair sweltering. Its a bit of a trade off too and I have to balance working with my mankini on for comfort as well as having some protection from getting grease on my knob or worse still getting my bollocks caught in the vice. I could just turn the heaters off but I just cant bring messen to do it as its fekkin luxurious.

As much as you could be expected to do on such a new/ low mileage bike Miles  your time would be better used making sure Ro Ro is fit and fettled for the touring season ahead! as always I've downloaded a workshop manual from a bike site for fettling and enhanced performance :rockon)

Trying to get my GSX 600 teapot on the road as the blackbird was written off by a car. Looking at a engine on eBay not everyone's cup of tea but I have a strong bond with this bike.

Had a few days off work so ditched the HID headlight conversion the previous owner had installed, in favour of the standard H7s. Didn't like them. High beam was a waste of time. Being the numpty I am, however, I have managed to transpose the hi/lo beam wiring but of course it was all back together before realising :banghead) :banghead) :banghead) Still, not a major fettle to do it right. :dunce)
