NC 500 Scotlandshire

Postby T.Murphy aka Tim » Mon May 22, 2017 11:24 pm

Theres a programme on the gogglebox about the North Coast 500 , Scotland and the Scottish Tourist Board's answer to Route 66. Its on BBC Alba and is still available for download.

You'll need subtitles on cos its in foreign. Cracking programme although I'm divided. Shoulda kept it quiet as every fooka including motorbikes, cyclists, caravanners, motorhomers and just fekkin cars now wants to "do it " A victim of its own popularity?

"A cracking programme"? rotfl

Potentially, yes, but ruined by poor camera work in even poorer weather -
no doubt hindered by a severely limited budget. Only watched the first one,
so hoping it gets better. Not seen anything (yet) that makes me want to go, though.

I might see the bottom part of the NC whatever it is ( I fookin hate it when they give things like this a name :evil) ) at the weekend as me and Alan are off on a very ultra secret hush hush rideout lodging at Glenelg, if anyone wants to stop talking about getting on their bike and books a room nearbye I'll see ya up there! :ride)

Were setting off Friday Morning at silly O'clock.....that's 08.00 to you and me

This place looks spot on and single rooms too.....check availability though? http://www.donanhouse.co.uk/ross_shire_ ... dation.htm

Ive taken the easy way . Just altered my personal settings to "Ignore Topboxes". Software then photochops any topboxes out automatically for me. Simples :rockon)
