Anybody Fettling or Farkling these Holiday's
Posted: Wed Dec 27, 2017 11:26 pmI'm nearly done with all my service items, fitted the air filter on boxing day, Just engine oil and final drive to do and I'm ready for the road 
Actually started on the Bird yesterday . Here's what Im doing..
Strip forks right down, check bushes, repolish fork lowers and then rebuild with nice clean fluid. Actually stripped one down yesterday and the colour of the oil and the stench was disgusting so ready for it.
Powder coat front wheel then new bearings in and titanium disc bolts.
Powder coat headlight and clocks subframe
New seal kits in both front calipers and deep clean.
Full new brake line kit to fit.
New radiator to fit.
New horn, parp!
LED hi beam to fit.
New CCT.
The only thing Im doing to the back end, ooh err missus, is to get the rear subframe powder coated once Ive dong the front stuff.
The Bird should then be ready for the Spring.
