Still love my BIRD. 19 years now and still an awesome bike. I do tend to use my Trophy SE more than the BIRD but when I wake it up, it still puts a smile on my face.
I just had a look on BIRD. Still a load of bollocks and someone bragging about his latest acquisition with four wheels. duh

Hi Barrie. Hope you're well. What happened to the Pan then? Cant remember...did Neil have it?

Im afraid to say the Bird(s) ;) havent been used much in anger this year. The titanium/khaki one has only ventured to Germany in April and occasional bimbles in the Peaks. Red one just in the Peaks too. Did 2000 miles in the Alpes in September on the GS...I was even undecided on the day of leaving whether to go on the Bird...after all, thats what shes for isnt it...however, and fortunately, common sense and old age kicked in so I sadly left the Bird behind. As it happened ( in a Jimmy Saville voice)if Id have taken the Bird then it would have fekkin killed me...all them Alps, ups and downs, tight hairpins and not enjoying the views like on the GS...so it was a good shout for me. Still, there were some roads that the Bird would have enjoyed, until Id have lost my licence.!

Nice to hear from you.
