Pie and Peas Pics

Postby TazCBR1100XX » Sun Aug 17, 2003 11:30 pm

First of all, Rosie and Taz would like to thank everyone who came for the run on Saturday to Skegness, and Sunday to Squires. The Pie and Peas went down a treat, so did the bacon butties - no waste was thanks enough for us. For those who couldn't make it - tough shit - you missed a good weekend lol Anyone who's organised one of these runs knows how much effort goes into it, but it's those who attend that make it a success - thank xx folks

Funny highlights of the run to Skeggy were as follows:
Just before we set off from The Ship in Skegness, there were 10 Birds all facing towards the main road waiting to exit the car park, and there were 3 Birds ready to go in the opposite direction to use the other exit - you had to be one of those three to understand, but I had to laugh :D

Wobbly wanted a Bird parade along the front at Skegness, so we duly obliged. Due to traffic lights, most of us got to the end of the road, turned round, and headed back in the direction we had just come from. On the way back, I waved to Wobbly, who was coming towards me - the look on his face when he saw us was fookin hilarious - he obviously didn't realise we had turned round.

Some silly twat handed Wobbly the Diesel nozzle at Tesco :oops) Dunno who it was though :roll)

George Doors nearly wet himself laughing when Rosie decided that Red looked like Mini-Me lol

Here's a few pics to start the ball rolling - I understand there's a few more to come from a certain person who is very handy with a camera :banghead)

Do I feel left out of what was probably the best run of the year so far or what :? Looks like the weather was pefect for the day and every one was smiling and enjoying the day.

Note to self: You will go to the ball (come what may) if there is a next time.

Sorry I couldn't be there, but I was in spirit (or some sentimental crap like that). Glad everyone had a great time though (VERY - Jealous)

I also have one and they look great during the day, but fooks up the light during the night, fortunately it's just held in place by 3 little velcro patches so its easy to remove when needed.

Some comments on the photos:

1) The line-up pics get me "mentally erect" :) ... did you all attract much attention in your travels as a group and at stopping points?

2) Taxi-n-Bro... are you two twins? :?

3) In the "Who ate the cakes" photo... I assume that Swampy is the man with the tats? However, its clear from the photo that Bikerchef ate much more than a few pies-n-cakes :D I think from that angle that Bikerchef may be the new IXXRA BIGwhippingBOY! :D

4) The shot of Badger... whats that yellow bike in the background over his left shoulder? :?
