First of all, Rosie and Taz would like to thank everyone who came for the run on Saturday to Skegness, and Sunday to Squires. The Pie and Peas went down a treat, so did the bacon butties - no waste was thanks enough for us. For those who couldn't make it - tough shit - you missed a good weekend
Anyone who's organised one of these runs knows how much effort goes into it, but it's those who attend that make it a success - thank
folks
Funny highlights of the run to Skeggy were as follows:
Just before we set off from The Ship in Skegness, there were 10 Birds all facing towards the main road waiting to exit the car park, and there were 3 Birds ready to go in the opposite direction to use the other exit - you had to be one of those three to understand, but I had to laugh
Wobbly wanted a Bird parade along the front at Skegness, so we duly obliged. Due to traffic lights, most of us got to the end of the road, turned round, and headed back in the direction we had just come from. On the way back, I waved to Wobbly, who was coming towards me - the look on his face when he saw us was fookin hilarious - he obviously didn't realise we had turned round.
Some silly twat handed Wobbly the Diesel nozzle at Tesco
Dunno who it was though
George Doors nearly wet himself laughing when Rosie decided that Red looked like Mini-Me
Here's a few pics to start the ball rolling - I understand there's a few more to come from a certain person who is very handy with a camera
Some fookin traffic jam this is
Impressive or what?
Looks nice eh?
Anyone for a game of Dominos
Wish someone would just say fookin GO
We aren't really posing - we just happened to be there all at the same time
I'm sure this is where I left my fookin Taxi last night - Nice Silver though
