New idea - maybe a new section somewhere

Postby Ladybird » Fri Aug 22, 2003 5:45 pm

We're all like kids in a sweet shop when we go to these bike shops aren't we? We all like to try new things out?

Well, what about a product review section....where we can give our thoughts on what we've tried, at least then if you were thinking about giving something a go, then someone here might have already tried it.

Listen, its Friday, and my brain feels like mashed potato, so I don't know if I have explained myself properly, but I think you get my drift.

I don't know about "High Abusers" but has anyone done any sort of review or appraisal of xx Huggers.
Where I operate is very dusty and often the roads get sand on them.
The rear shock spring is showing early signs of becoming "Sand Blasted".
I don't need anything fancy just needs to be effective and a good fit.
Maybe its too early to start this theme on this page if there may be a new one specifically for reviews. :banghead)

Chrixx,
I've got a Pyramid plastics one fitted and it has served me well. Keeps loads of crud off the spring and shock (HyperPro). It also is ready to be fitted with an undertray, with no additional cutting involved, due to there being a cutaway on the hugger. Something to think about if you consider mixing hugger and undertray manufacturers. :)
