Welcome to the site and the IXXRA family, relax, chill - and if you have any questions just shout up.

Oh, and we might see ya next year, I understand there may be something coming off near you - ooooppss! "I shouldn't have said that"

I beg to differ there Bus Boy -
twist throttle fully open = hard ON
twist throttle fully closed = hard OFF
twist throttle fully open = hard ON
twist throttle fully closed = hard OFF
twist throttle fully open = hard ON
twist throttle fully closed = hard OFF
twist throttle fully open = hard ON
twist throttle fully closed = hard OFF

:oops) Sorry Andy - just realised yer a Bus Boy now ain't ya - probably doesn't have the same effect as the xx :D

Welcome to the Madhouse WolfMan :D :bigshock) :jester)
Enjoy the 'bird but enjoy life better. Treat with extreme caution until ready to wind her up.

Go slow, good things come to those who wait.

I'm looking forward to going "up country" and joining some of your rides, and meeting some quality bikers :wink) as soon as I can.

I have clocked up 24k miles in two years on my Hornet and have enjoyed every minute. But not realy suitable for touring so upgrade to xx

Should be run in by Fri 5th Sept.

Welcome matey, obviously a man of great taste :rockon)

As to running in, I picked up my new one a couple of months ago and was told "don't ride like a nutter for the first 300 miles!". Not riding like a nutter just means a bit of short shifting intitially and staying below the ton!!! You will find everyting is tight to begin with and if yours is anything like mine was, it may be a bit vibey for the first few hundred miles. Mine now has 1,700 miles on it and is becoming as smooth as the proverbial smooth thing, it just seems to get better each time I take it out.

Now that I have some miles on it I am really enjoying the power delivery, it is more responsive than my carbed blackbird was and seems to pull harder in the mid range.

Enjoy matey :thumbsup)
