Devastating News..In Memory Of Rob

Postby AnthSP1 » Sun Aug 24, 2003 2:40 pm

Friday I was informed that a good mate of mine and JonnaXX's, Rob had passed away after getting Pneumonia on top of his Lukeminia.

Rob was only dianosed with lukemia a few weeks ago, everything happened so sudden.

Rob was the life and soul of our branch of the Honda Owners Club. He has been with us since day 1 of the Northumberland branch, and never missed a meeting or a ride out. Both him and his partner Dionne where superb friends to me presonally and to everyone around them.

I highly though of person and who was always joking on about things and people around him, in a nice mischevious sort of way. He was also very intelligent indivdual.

A great guy who will be sorely missed. Rob is furthest left in this picture.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend Anth :( It goes to show that not all bikers die in road accidents, but sad none the less. Even sadder for those left behind - my condolences to his friends and family

Devastating news Anth. I don't know what to say - but my thoughts are with everyone who knew Rob. The path of life can take very strange turns indeed.

Dito all that's been said, It's bad enough when you hear someone's departed who you never met but have admired like Steve,Joey, Sheene etc. but a lot harder when it's someone close to you. Courage to you and to all that have felt his loss. :(
Image …Ride carefully. It's not only bikes that can be recalled by their maker.
