Okee-dokeey folks, bad news I'm afraid.
Unfortunatly the contents of the old QOTW, like the other boards, was a total loss :roll:
So, the bad news is we will have to start again and, unfortunatly, (or fortunatly, depending on how you look at it), for Taz, Demon and BH, all those loverly monkeys have escaped the zoo.
I can tell you, as if you couldn't figure it out, that Taz was at the top of the christmas tree, but I dont have a count. I haven't talked it over with the rest of the crew but, we may make an 'interim paynent' (little trophy), to Taz at the P&P run as he was quite a loooooooong way ahead of everyone else and barring some exceptional gaffor from Demon or BH, the chance of anyone catching up before the end of the year was pretty slim.
As we are starting 'anew' so to speak, I thought I would open up a discussion for any way in which you all would like to change or alter the current way we do the QOTW. I can't promise anything but I am, after all, just your humble servent. :wink:

For the record Andy, I disagree with your count. I counted the monkeys for Taz and I once a couple weeks prior to the "crash" and neither of us won any more since I counted.

I had 39 monkeys and he had either 34 or 35... but I am positive that I had a few more :roll:

Could I have held him off for the rest of the year? I doubt it... but I was in the lead at the "crash"

As we are starting 'anew' so to speak, I thought I would open up a discussion for any way in which you all would like to change or alter the current way we do the QOTW

Well I think that if anyone wins monkeys at the expense of another member, then that member should also receive the same amount of monkeys as the recipient of the QOTW accolade OK Folks - I win - gimme all them fookin monkeys right now :lol:

I also think that if there is a close run battle for QOTW and you have trouble deciding which one should get the monkeys (i.e. there are two or three quotes which are very close) then you should share the 10 monkeys between them with the most monkey going to the bestest, and the least monkeys going to the nearly bestest and in between monkeys going to the inbetweeny bestest if ya know wot I mean :? If there were two quotes for example, then award 6 and 4 monkeys. Oh I do love it when I get organised
