What do the conning bastids do on a 8000 mile service please

Inspect Wheels/Tyres

Replace Engine Oil
Replace Engine Oil Filter

So basically it involves a lot of looking and not much doing. I guess I could take that to a cheaper servicing place than a main dealer??
