....to take the piss out of. This house moving lark is taking a bit of time innit.

Taken from T.W.O magazine The Marketplace- buying news and advice-
discussing the various colours that manufacturers try to sell but come unstuck starts off with the pukey green the BMW f650 came in in 1995-6 then comes this.

YET EVEN SENSIBLE COLOURS CAN COME A CROPPER, ANOTHER DEALER SAID "I DON'T KNOW WHY HONDA BOTHERED MAKING THE SUPER BLACKBIRD IN THAT BURGUNDY RED. IF I HAVE A BLACK OR GUNMETAL ONE CUSTOMERS ARE IN LIKE A SHOT....BUT THAT RED???. THEY DON'T BOTHER COMING. IT'S NOT THAT THE RED IS BAD - IT'S JUST THAT EVERYONE PREFERS THE OTHER OPTIONS." SO DOES COLOUR AFFECT THE VALUE OF THESE BIKES? "IF I'VE GOT A BIKE IN A COLOUR WHICH TAKES A LONG TIME TO SELL THEN I'LL HAVE TO TAKE A LOWER OFFER TO GET SHOT OF IT. THAT MEANS I CAN ONLY GIVE MINIMUM TRADE IN"
