New wiring loom

Postby Gruf » Fri Aug 01, 2003 10:26 pm

Wiring loom
I'm getting a new wiring loom fitted today as my bike was cutting out, the maniac said he was not going to bother to strip the old loom (Honda uk told him not to bother) to find the fault so no photos of the faulty part. I'm also getting a new set of fork lowers as mine have started to flake.
Here's a list of things I've had to have changed under warranty
I bought the bike in June 2002 I've done 27200 miles so far.

Petrol tank
Main frame
Sud frame
seat
wind screen
wiring loom
fork lowers
I asked for a new bike but was told I'd got one?

Kinnell Gruf that must be a record, didnt think they did "Friday afternoon" bikes at Honda . What was up with the frame?
95% of all Harley Davidsons ever made are still on the road... the other 5% made it home.

Now to be fair lads, my Bird has only had three faults:

1. The FI light came on after a soaking, then the fooking plugs went sooty

2. One of the engine mounting bolts broke

3. The CCT is a bit sloppy - well, sloppy as a cows twat actually

The rest of the shit has been caused by some fookin twerp who calls himself a fookin mickinick and hasn't got a fookin clue which way is up  If I could have found a GOOD Honda dealership where the mickinicks take a pride in their work, the Bird would have been fixed proper the first time round, and they would have checked the CCT like I asked in the first place when it went in the First time  I've just been unlucky, but the bike's gonna be fine once numb nuts' dealership sorts it out (I hope)

Now I must admit to having sampled the Essex girl - and yes, it was good and it was EASY  She certainly lived up to the reputation

The measurement of the Essex girl is the size and number of gold rings petruding from their ears...

The seat rubbed the paint off the frame and the garage could not guarantee a colour match so they changed the frame and gave me a new seat
