I can see you've taken care of everything for us, thanks much for that. Me and Ka feel gutted its so far away and we've got tight work commitments, still we'll be up soon and maybe we can meet you?

The optimiser, you could send it to me I guess, do you reckon it was damaged??? I'll send you my address in a PM.

Thanks again Ladybird you've been great, holding up the southern end there.

8) Cheers

P.S. Ka's bin in tears coz he can't get up there Dal. (Sorry Ka)

Hawk,

Thanks for the appreciation, but we ain't done anything other than visit him and try and get things sorted out with his bike, and I know all our members on here would do exactly the same for any other member, given it was the close proximity of everything.

When you're up sure love to see you both.

The optimizer, normally they're packed really well. We'll have a look and let you know on that one.

I know Darren, and he will be forever in your debt, he really respects friends and what they do for him. And just think, if he never had you guys visiting him he'd be feeling sorry for himself, well more than usual any way, seriously though its good to see you guys bothering. Plus its nice to know he's among new found friends too.

Right then, thats enough of me being in touch with my feminine side where's that rugby ball.

Been to see Darren tonight, yep still in hospital but believed to be due out tomorrow, infact as we walked into the ward there he was on his walker making his way back to his bed.

Darrens much, much brighter tonight, and is really, really looking forward to getting home. So hopefully, fingers crossed, maybe, who knows, the next message might be from himself.

Deano went to have a look at the bike today. Plastics on off side ground away, nose cone gone, other front plastics, very badly damaged, front forks appear damaged, near side plastics also cracked etc. Offside exhaust well mashed and bent, possible subframe damage as now touching swinging arm. Right off? 50/50? not yet assessed by insurance company.

OK - he's home. 1700 hrs today (approx).

Yes Hawk he has an infection in his leg, and yep he's gets daily visits from a nurse. Went to see him last night he's fine - don't worry The Doors is absolutely fine. Pissed that it's taken him so long to get home though.

So hopefully, fingers crossed with his new laptop....he'll be on soon. his mate Paul contacted Deano tonight, apparently, he's got the biggest smile now he's home, and errr understand steak was on the menu for tonight !

WELCOME HOME - DARREN !!! :-) :-)
