Well, DAs post led me to thinking about the events for 2004. It's likely there'll be an Official IXXRA get together, Swamps is talking about a run to Cornwall, Badger was thinking of doing something at his place, so the question is: Is it worth us thinking about a Pie & Peas run again for mid-August (assuming Bezzer agrees with the date)? It is expensive to set one of these things up, and it takes a fair amount of work behind the scenes prior to kick-off (and if TaxiRED doesn't come there'll be a lot less beer to drink :mrgreen:

), but if you want it again and there's going to be enough people coming, I'll do it.

There are a couple of factors which could affect it taking place as follows:
1) I might not be able to afford it
2) I might move house before then to a smaller place so may not have as much space to put people up
3) My Peas supplier is moving on, so will have to find another source who's happy to accept payment in kind
4) Rosie - I'll say no more :mrgreen:

So, although it's quite some time off, give me a vote and let's see if there's likely to be enough interest - but don't vote yes just for the sake of it.

As We've missed out of every event this season, I'd like to make the most of it next year.
To save all the work, We could all just chip in and get some chinese take away or something equally as fast delivered.
That way we can spend more time on the road and less in the kitchen.

You obviously haven't tasted these excellent pies. Apart from that, we have an agreement, Rosie doesn't ride my Bird, and I don't cook in her kitchen

I'm definitely going to pencil that one in my diary once you've got a date fixed.

Hopefully we'll be able to get a few more "Southern Pooftas" to ride up in convoy next time.

This year I cut the Sunday ride short because peeps had to travel some way, but I think this was unfair on those who couldn't make the ride out Saturday but turned up for bacon butties and Squires on the Sunday. So, IF, and at present it's an IF until Rosie gets it into her stupid head that WE ARE going to have a Pie N Peas run ( :twisted)

), as I was saying......if, we do have a Pie N Peas run next year, it will defo be a ride out on the Saturday and a decent ride out on the Sunday too.

We're in the process of tarting up Casa Taz with a view to selling, so we'll have to wait and see what happens :mrgreen:

More money to spend = more rides out = happy Taz. More money = more shopping trips = happy Rosie
