FOOOOK ORF that's what I say.

There are some great pop up killers, the aol one works a treat. There are a few effective ones out there too, as freeware.

For those of you who don't use aol, I have a free site aswell.
Although Taz can't seem to benifit from it I have had no problems in over 4 months.

Suggest you clear your cookies and restart your machine. All the sites are paid for addy free and we should not be getting any spurious adverts !! May have been loaded from the temporary forum.

The popup squashers are a bag o shite - they kill the fookin popups you need such as IXXRA chat, but don't kill these fookers that say Message Service (not a page popup, but a system dialog box type popup).

I do however religously use Ki-Washer from Klavath Infotech to get rid of all the shite left on mypc. It works a treat, and if ya wannt keep just a few cookies, ya can set them to stay there. Empties recycler and all sortsa things. Fookin good stuff

Although I've never used 2K, I'm sure it won't be too far off from this...

Services shortcut
Messenger
Disable it in the scroll down "startup type"
Apply

Bob's your uncle and fanny's your aunt...

The reason I installed the popup vanish was to get rid of a particular message only to find it wasn't classed as a popup, this cleared it straight away.
If I enable the messenger I'm sure it will be back in a matter of seconds.

Yeah those messages can be rather shite...My message was something to do with "increase your penis size"...well as you can see by my baby photo...the last thing I needed was an enlargement... lol
