The Calendars are here PICS NOW SHOWN

Postby Ladybird » Sat Nov 15, 2003 5:37 pm

Finally, they're here and looking mighty fine. The IXXRA crew feel that another organisation should benefit from their sales so we are looking possibly at supporting the NABD (National Association of Bikers with a Disability).

http://www.nabd.org.uk/homepage.htm

The price being set is £7.50 - which will see £1.50 going to the benefactors.

Initially we have now 32 calenders in our possession, but we have purchased set up and holding fee, thus we have the option of further runs if required. So numbers of calenders are not a problem.

Any requests for calenders must be forwarded to Jayne by e-mail - her e-mail address is: jaynus40@hotmail.com - who, on receipt of your mail, will forward you payments details and address to post said payment to.

****Please do not leave orders on this post, as they may be overlooked*****

We must stress at this point - no profits are going to the IXXRA fund. Far better that we give a well deserving charity as a Christmas present.

Here is a small pic of the cover page and a couple of months. The size is 11 3/4 inches wide and 16 1/2 inches long.

That's an extreamly nice gesture and I'm proud to be apart of a group who can put others before themselves...

Long shall the Ixxra continue and prosper.

Change that from Thick Bastid to Lazy Bastid cuz I spotted it as soon as I posted it, but couldn't be arsed to change it cuz I was going out for a run on the xx - yes, I know it was dark, but that's why the xx has lights

The problem is Jism that I type fast (and I use all fingers and thumbs :P ), but I also think fast, and yesterday, I was thinking so fast my fingers couldn't keep up :D

Went over to Wobblies house today to pick up my IXXRA 2004 Calendar and I must say, I'm impressed :thumbsup) Only problem is that by the time I got it home it looked like two IXXRA mugs  And just for those of you who keep calling me tight, I paid £10 for my calendar so I could add a tad more to the IXXRA funds as they were decent enough to donate £1.50 to charity themselves :P Wonder if any of you tight tvats will do the same

Erm - Jism - ya don't have to ya know :oops) I'll probably get into bother off the IXXRA Crew now for prostituting 'em  After seeing the calendars though, and with the charity thing and all, and with it being nearly Christmas, I thought that I would give just a little of my hard earned dosh to the IXXRA cause cuz they just keep thinking up new ways of giving something to the group and I got a bit sentimental :oops) I feel all embarrassed now :roll)

Well at least some of us have pride and if there's something you should ask for this Xmas it should be for some too...

Jeez Andy, you're walking into it big time today maybe you should take a break as you're leaving yourself wide open, and I'm not just talking about your poop hole... lol

Pride of place is where you like to spend most of your time, in your case Andy the Suzuki workshop is probably best :finger)

If its where we spend most of our time, then I'd pin mine to the Bus as thats what I ride most of the time... lets do a poll. how many times has your bike been in the shop (you can be excused Taz as there wont be enough room on the form for your answer :D ), and lets see who's has needed the most work. :P Money where your mouth is , and all that :twisted) :P 8) :D
