Tried em both matey :( The helpful chap at Demon Tweeks explained that because the Blackbird came with a front fender as standard, there was no market for carbon fibre ones :? :wtf: I just couldn't be arsed to explain that most bikes actually come with a front fender and yet they are avilable for other models :roll) :tool)

Hey ho. I will try the NEC on Wednesday failing all else

Go to the David Silvers stand at the NEC they have the genuine Honda carbon look front mudguards on offer dead cheap- £30 ish I think they are. Saw them on Sunday alongside the Honda aftermarket seat - front half black back half beige and the vice versa sick . No wonder they didnt sell and Silvers bought them cheap they were only £35, alright for a spare I suppose, a replacement seat would be dearer at a breakers and you could put a seat hump hump on it to mask the beige
It's a full foursided stand Giz the seats and mudguards are up on a wall on one side with replacement panels.
95% of all Harley Davidsons ever made are still on the road... the other 5% made it home.

Gizzit, try Carbo Tech's web site. I don't know what language it's in, looks like German to me.

http://carbon.at/4_index.html

When you get on the site click on "motorrad", scroll down and click on "List of Products". Then scroll down 'til you find the xx

There's 3 things listed:
MOHO120301 Front fender
MOHO120401 Rear hugger w/ chain guaurd
MOHO120505 Tank pad

I don't know about the mud guard.
Oh, and their phone # is 43-662-424453-99

Good luck.

Top man fodie, the front fender is the thing I am looking for (foreign for mud guard  or mud guard is UK for fender :? ).

Their UK importer, Rhencullen has a stand at the NEC too, (stand R66 if anyone else is looking) so I will pay them a visit Wednesday. The genuine carbon fender is about three times the price of the fake carbon one, but I think I would rather pay the extra for something I really want rather than a compromise, if ya know what I mean :D (done that too many times and ended up paying loads more in the long run :oops) )

Thanks again matey :thumbsup)

And if you plan on selling your old one, I might be interested in buying if it's after Christmas :D

I was going to keep the old one and put it back on if I ever sell the bike. It would look silly on your white bird though Taz, but I suppose it would make you go a bit quicker

Seriously though, if you need to get a new one, there are a couple on ebay going cheap. As the silver is quite rare, I would be suprised if you could get one the right colour, so you would have to get a re-spray in any event. If thats the case, couldn't you spray yours or is it badly damaged?

There's nowt wrong with mine - I'm saving up panels til I get a full set spare then I'm going to have a really nice paint job done (with Silver as the base colour obviously) but I'll still have the original ones too so I can swap and change as the mood takes me :D I've got a rear seat cowl, just need the other small items now so make sure yer nuts are tight :P

There have been loads of side panels, tail fairings and tanks up on ebay over the last few months (I always keep an eye open for blacbird stuff) and some have gone really cheap if they have a bit of scratching. I think you will find it a bit more difficult to source mirrors and top farings panels though, although they do appear from time to time. Nice idea though dude. You are sure to go a bit faster
