Sorry, but only 1500 in the UK and 1400 in Saudi Arabia. My excuse (Nay, reason) was that I was in a Wheel Chair until the end of January. then had a Zimmer Frame, then Crutches, then a walking stick until end of July. I found it difficult to man handle the xx and realised the discretion was cheaper than xx bodywork. UK mileage was done on a 1977 GL1000 Lead Wing. The GL has wide engine bars which stop it falling completely on its side.

Made for me then - as long as there's a fookin step to help me climb aboard

I don't know exactly how many miles this year cuz the fookin thing kept going backward and forward to the fookin menders cuz they're a set o fookin useless tvats :roll) Approximately 7k for me which is a bit disappointing, but I've averaged it out over the last two years 8)

Just make sure you know where all the bits go on after...nothing worse than finding a couple of nuts and bolts lying spare and you've completed the job :banghead) :banghead) :banghead) ...or is that just me..??

Right then:

7,500 miles on the bb from Jan to May 17th when I had the off :bigcry:
5,800 miles on the 'loan bike' Triumph Trophy from end of May till beginning of August :P
5600 on the Busa from 1st September to now :roll)

So a grand total of 18,300 miles this year, down on my average of 20k a year.

I've done about 6500 this year and there is still a month left in the year  Unfortunately most of those miles are to and form work :bigcry: Didn't have very much time for the Saturday and Sunday fun rides. oh, and the Cops kept wanting to talk to me this year...that slowed me down :roll)

What the difference between UK miles and US miles?

In the US there are five McDonalds per mile but in the UK there are five pubs per mile. :wink)

I only accumulated a mere 4000 miles thus far, but anticipate another 500-700 before the year is over.
