how much should a MAJOR service cost on the Bird?
we're talkin shims brake fluid brake pads headraces replacing! im curious because of how much i know it will cost here! i just wanna compare UK prices with Polish prices!?

Ok DA my Garage takes £125- plus parts, and as you know everything here is sold at a very discounted rip-off price I'd say whatever you've been quoted there has to be at least 50% better then here.

Oh OK, sencible answer it is the, I think from memory, the last major service I had on the bb was about £250 ish including parts (I think I had the pads done as well)

No, I only used the honda dealer once and the service was crap, I have used the same place since (Motografix in Doncaster, inded I bought the Bus from them as well, and they service that) I seem to remember that I thought the Honda dealer service price was way o.t.t.
As a comparison, Motografix charged me £20 (yes thats right) for the Busas first service and £80 for the 4k service :)

thanks XXANDY! im just tryin to compare prices here in Poland! the HONDA dealership ive taken it to is charging me 1,200zl which is about 200quid! but thats including all parts & supply& replacement of head races! :D think i got a good rate! & my servis book stamped by honda dealer! :D

cheers Deano! just got her back home! everything done! changed ALL the fluids (incl fork oil) new pads all round, new head races& new rear tyre! total £260! still less than i thought it was gonna be! now i know she is ready for the Winter! !!! :D
