...rid of Solvite adhesive :?
The fookin' numbskull who I bought my house from has splashed it all over the walls as well as the fookin' border the dummy stuck up with it :roll)
I've managed to get the border & the backing off, but there's bastid adhesive everywhere :bigcry:

try thinners dude or you could try warming it up with a hairdryer and wiping it off.

Speak to Henkel (Solvite, Unibond etc are. their brand names) direct BH. The phone number is 01606 593933 or try checking out the web site http://www.diystickit.co.uk/index.php as they may have a FAQ that might give you some advice.

Got an e-mail back from Solvite today, if its of any interest to any1 -
Thank you for your recent e.mail concerning the above.

We would advise that dried Solvite border adhesive can be removed using
sugar soap and a stiff-bristled brush. The moisture in the sugar soap
will gradually soften the adhesive and this in conjunction with the
abrasive nature of the brush removes the adhesive.

We trust the above is of assistance.
