Luggage racks

Has anybody fitted a luggage rack from another bike on their Blackbird? I would be interested to know what works and what doesn't.

the rack i have on my bird was fitted by my brother in law before he sold me the bike it is a givi wingrack and was removed from his cbr 600f and he got a kit for the bird with some brackets
it looks good apart from a slightly dark patch where the top plate had to be adjusted to the wider setting cos the bird is fatter than the 600
