Wheres the link gone ned? You posted it up this morning and now its gone :-?

Anyrode, had a look at your link and yes thems the ones.

Spoke to a Chinaman in China (yes, really) called Ivan (yes really I fookin know) about 18 months ago....he manufactured rads in an ultra modern manufacturing unit. Asked him about rads for Birds and he said yes no problem, send the drawings and for an order of no less than 200 he could sell me them for 12 dollars apiece! I declined the kind offer due to no drawings, cant be arsed, no money up front and no business acumen. Looks like someone has all the attributes hence the prices of the rads we see on ebay. At 45 and 70 quid compared to err, other places Id say that's worth a punt. :thumbsup)

Why would anyone attempt the plugs without proper plug spanner....its the only way Shirley. :roll)

Have you sprayed the rad bolts with penetrating oil? Give them a good soaking before you try removal. Might seem obvious but make sure you note which small bore pipe is which on the right hand side top. There's one fuckknut on here that refitted them the wrong way 'round. One would think that was impossible to do but it aint :thumbsup)

Drain the whole system ( sorry for stating the obvious but you never know) and flush through. Good luck :thumbsup)

This being my first bird,.........you may know that "its the only way Shirley"
The bike may not have had a tool kit with it and not knowing about the access problem with frame cross member I
could have taken it apart before realizing it, so without proper plug spanner I could have had a problem.

Ned :-)
ps, Mr Murphy, Have you fitted your new radiator yet ?

Without the toolkit and socket, you wouldnt have even got started.....then you woild have had to read a manual/ask on a Bird site.

No, havent even thought of changing the radiator yet. Bird still in use until todsy/tomorrow. Itll be a Winter job along with a few others.
