Who do you use for your European Breakdown cover? And how much are you paying for it?

Ta!

Try NCI in Harrogate. Very cheap compared to the big boys.

Let them quote for my insurance this year and they beat everyone else.
Today is the first day of the rest of your life. But so was yesterday, and look how you messed that up.

Apparently when with Bennetts they included Breakdown cover, prior to goin France 2 years ago all was sorted for duration of trip.......

When i needed it it appears Bennetts had not included cover at all!!!!

Took out RAC family cover [4 vehicles] all bells and whistles, no problems this far.

All i can say is if it is included with insurance make sure it is definately covered by service provider by ringing them directly.

There is nothing wrong with the way I ride.

Just stay 15 feet in front or 15 feet behind. You need to be 15 feet to my left or right.

Don't think I've ever had Euro breakdown cover with an insurance policy.

This year, as I'm doing two European trips and my insurance is due just as I begin the first trip, I reckon I'll go this route.

I know Footman James include it automatically, I'm told Carol Nash do too, do Bennett's include it if asked? Does anyone have a GOOD or BAD experience with insurer's cover?

To be quite honest - I've purchased european cover on the bird seperately previously with the RAC - it cost about £80 for 2 weeks - I have just renewed my insurance - as last year with Carole Nash - with European cover included..I've never had the experience of trying their cover...and I don't want to.....however, now I know how much independent cover costs, it works out financially better to get it included in my insurance renewal - but that's my thoughts...

That's what I have done previously, but realised that for two trips (three weeks total :-) ) it would be worth getting inclusive cover.

red star i used but it came with the bike insurance..they were the biggest breakdown cover..although sadly when you call them its a gaff in holland..so france to holland on a british mobile :bigshock) bill for breakdown calls alone came it at about £170 :banghead) could have paid out cash for the tow and hotel and came out about roughly even!
they really dont give a poo when you stuck in the vfr :banghead)
as for the french..dont start me off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :evil)
fortunatly the bike cleaner/house maid has a high job in an international insurance company..so if anything happens again one call to the local office..sit back and let them sort it :) ..new she would come in handy for something :roll)

i used nci last year, payed just under 80 quid for a years european cover, never had to use it.

my dad had bad accident 4yrs ago in germany, insured through carol nash, they sorted everything with very little fuss, flight home, shipping all his gear home, paying out for losses, ,

premuim too high for me but im sure some of the older gentlemen may find them competitive

Oh, feck one, the extemporaneous consideration and empathy shown toward fellow aged challenged members is simply heart warming.

Get ya feckin hand off it will ya, the old coonts get everything cheaper because they don't do anything, won't venture further than the British Legion Club, only ride on a sunny day with no wind and a 7 day forecast of fine weather (which is never in Ol' Blighty) and frankly who friggin cares.

There, I've just woke up so I'm grumpy, I'll go now. have a good sleep everyone. (even the old coonts) :twisted) :twisted) :twisted)

think I read somwhere that the breakdown services cannot legaly rescue you from an autoroute as they are classed as private roads so when you breakdown you have to get taken off said toll road and then get your rescue firm to get you .
