After a LOT of hassle trying to find a supplier of waterproof 12v accessory sockets and plugs, I finally managed to locate a site called Seamark Nunn.com.
See
www.seamarknunn.co.uk/catalog/subcat185.htm
I've fitted the socket and it looks superb, It's also fitted with a locking plug to stop it working loose while on the move.
Ideal I'd say for these holiday goers over the coming months but watch out for the P&P, its a tad steep.

if you want a fag lighter type 12v socket, cheapest way to do it is to buy from a truck dealer, i got one from an Iveco dealership with rubber hinged lid for around the £5 mark! They also do the Hella type sockets for a similar price, recomended for high draws like kettles coz the fag lighter ones burn out, I know from experiance in the truck, trying to pour out yer cuppa when the dashboard is smoking is very annoying...
If it aint broke' fix it till it is...

afraid i don't smoke however fitting 2 sockets under the seat on fly leads to the battery does away the need for waterproof ones - came in very handy during me hols to charge up the phones whilst riding
