I bought a two piece from the Sheffield branch last November,

after 3 months the zip on the Jacket broke (the piece you slide into

the puller). I thought it wouldn't be too much trouble to try and have it

fixed here. Think again apparently it's a big job

you need to replace the whole zip

Anyway,I've just phoned HG in Sheff told them the story :-

"No probs m8 - bring the jacket with you on your next visit home

and we'll either fix it or give you a new one which ever YOU prefer"

How nice is that hey??

I told the bloke at the store that I'm not sure I've still got the receipt

Still said it's ok - you have 2 yrs warranty on leather jackets

A lot of their gear gets geat write up's and awards.

I was stupid to buy one of the last jackets made by Belstaff, it does'nt even have a zip-out liner so just a winter jacket really. Shame, they us to make such great gear

Should have bought one like Maxx did from Hein Gericke, what a superb bit of kit!

Yep- second jacket from HG, plus winter gloves, watterproof socks (yes fookin really ) and pleased with all of em. Part of the reason I got em from there was the warranty, though up to now, no question of even needing it
