Rentec

Postby StuEssenhigh » Mon Jan 22, 2007 4:26 pm

Hi all,
So..after 7 years of tank bags etc, I've finally decided to get a top box!..(must be getting old and boring eh!). I'm considering getting the Givi monorack thingy, but even that seems to spoil the look of the bike.
What I'm wondering is if one of those Rentec rear rack thingys is big and strong enough to hold a top box. Coz with that rack it just bolts onto where the grab handle is, and isnt TOO noticeable when the box isnt on.
Thanks in advance for any advice/info. :-)

Certainly will, you'll need a plate adaptor aswell though. I've got a Rentec rack and adaptor but currently using the SWMotech kit.

Thanks for all the replies guys.
I;ll check out those links, and the ebay links in a mo., so thanks for that.
On a slightly different note....wow that Ohlins shock looks nice. I've always felt my standard one feels really saggy. I bet it feels tons better with the Ohlins eh?
