6mm spacer, will it cure my fully laden wobbles?

Postby dufus » Tue Mar 27, 2007 1:23 pm

I know most are aware of the extra 6mm spacer between the rear shock and its fixing but as a big unit who often takes his bint and full hard luggage, can I ask if any one had the fully laden lightness at the front and if they then used the 6mm spacer and what effect did it have? Ta

Just fitted the 6mm spacer. It has made a marked improvement on the handling. I haven't had her two up since the fitting but I always have a full top box and the difference is amazing (in my humble opinion, and i too am no shrinking violet :roll) )

For the small price of the spacer (or no cost if you are handy round the workshop) it would be worth it.

Also need to consider the usual xx quirks, like tyre wear and pressure etc.
