Screens!

Postby Bam Bam » Wed May 14, 2008 3:11 pm

I know!!! this has prob been chatted to death over time, but be gentle with me this is my first pop!!

I use my Bird daily to go to and from work but I also do some touring with it. I'm thinking of getting a 'touring' screen for those occations. What do poeple suggest, recommend, avoid at all cost etc?

Sorry to sound a tad dumb, blonde and senior :P but by MRA tourer do you mean the MRA Vario or the Sports Tourer?

Depends how tall y'are and if you carry a passenger but if you want it to look pretty and don't do that many miles- go with the MRA Touring screen m8.

If ya want to do the miles at xx cruising speeds around europe and can put up with what is a genuinely fugly screen- MRA Vario every time  I hate the look of the thing, but won't part with it and me and Mrs Me have done a few miles here and there in wind free comfort
Eliminate the impossible. Whatever remains, however improbable, must be the part you forgot to service.

MRA Vario.... best screen by far but fookin ugly! :roll)

i use one for taking my wife as a pillion and riding in the winter due to it's brilliant wind protection but go back to my DB for the summer solo riding (looks a million times better). :D
Was a 1 of kind xx........RIP Zebra
