how safe are bar risers

Not long until my trip around france, so went and clocked up some miles at the weekend, 300 miles around the welsh coast. got home knackered first time i have been this far since owning my bike. Have just fitted some bar risers. thay look all right but do you think there safe only seem to be on just over half way until you fit filler piece thats sent. any help would be great .wade

Which risers are they Wade ??
Are they the ones from Jaws or Ebay ??

They were of ebay and brand new the guy advertised them as genmar but thay were just stuck to a piece of card with no instructions, thge tops were chrome and not black plastic as per the other pics ive seen on the web . has any one else fitted genmar raiser if so how did thay arrive thanks again wade

the ones jaws sells are fine, 2 piece

bottom piece screws into the top of the fork so it extends the fork, then the riser fits on top yoke,
this allows the bars to be fitted as per the original fix, probably higher than genmars also, jaws approx 28mm rise, proper safe job.
