Did it in 2003, will dig the route out for you and PM you it if you want?

La Puy, then onto Vallon Pont D'Arc (canoeing in the ardeche).....then onto NIMES.....Narbonne.....then walled city of Carcossone, were they shot the film 'Robin Hood', then Aix les Therms, were you can soak your feet in the hot springs in the town centre :D

Then the climb up to Andorra.....

Going to Italy in June Grim, would'nt mind a copy of your route. Plan to start after the weekend in Paris and would like to see the Millau Viaduct

before making our way to Pisa and then Rome but the route is flexible 8)

OK, I hope you don't like the Peage though as we didn't touch a single mile of it ! Had to use the motorway in Italy though as there's no other way to get anywhere, the back roads aren't any use at all, unlike France.

I'll dig it out tonight and post it.

Cheers

Sorry Grim, think I misunderstood, I thought you had a route into Italy and Italy itself, I must have read you wrong, I'm ok with France and Spain routes.

No, I DO have a route down through France and into Italy via Switzerland and the Simplon Pass. It's the only way to go, IMO. Let me know if you're still interested and I will dig it out.

Cheers
